Established by Jill Hegarty in 2003, Twist has been voted Best Hair Salon for three consecutive years by Best of Orlando! We are proud to be an authorized Davines salon, offering our guests the cleanest, highest quality products on the market.

Jill is the founder and creative force behind Twist Hair Studio, which she proudly established in 2003. A lifelong resident of Orlando, she brings a deep sense of community and personal connection to her work, treating every client who walks through her doors like family.

Known for her passion for transformation—both in style and spirit—she views her salon as a living, evolving project, much like herself. Whether she’s updating the salon’s look or mastering new techniques, she’s always seeking fresh ways to grow, inspire, and elevate the client experience. Her commitment to reinvention keeps Twist Hair Studio not just current, but uniquely personal and welcoming—a true reflection of the love and creativity she brings to her craft every day.

Zelda Stewart Daley

Zelda is a dynamic, burgeoning stylist whose journey has taken her across the country, shaping a unique blend of Southern warmth and Northern grit that defines both her personality and her approach to her craft. With a deep passion for learning, she’s constantly evolving—always studying the latest techniques, trends, and tools to better serve her clients. She finds inspiration in the music and fashions of the 60s and 70s, the hustle and bustle of the salon, and quiet moments in nature.

Zelda sees hairstyling as more than just a service, but also a way to uplift and connect. She takes pride in pampering each guest, creating a comfortable, personalized experience that leaves them feeling seen, valued, and beautiful. Her greatest joy comes from highlighting the natural beauty in others and helping them recognize it in themselves.
